COMPONENTS REQUIRE TO ASSEMBLE A PC(PERSONAL COMPUTER)

 Today I am going to show you which and how many components required to assemble a PC.

 First of all, 

                 what is assemble a PC?
        
                This means buy computer components from market and assemble it at your side or by you then it is called assembling PC.and all hardware parts of a computer known as "components".

 so let's start our Topic:

  • Computer Case/ Cabinet 
             A  Computer case or cabinet is also known as computer tower , it is used for placing all hardware components inside it.
it save components to dust and other physical disaster.
  • SMPS(switch mode power supply)
A SMPS stand for switch mode power supply and it is used to convert / switch alternate current to direct current or AC to DC.



  • Motherboard(PCB-Power Circuit Board)
Motherboard is also known as PCB or printed circuit board and it is a electronic board where all computer components are connected. it helps all component to work together to produce required output and controls the functioning of the various components.It is a heart of a computer.

  •  CPU(Central Processing Unit)
CPU stand for central processing unit and it is that components who makes a computer capable to do something. I mean it process all given instruction that given by user.It is brain or engine for a computer.
  • Random Access Memory(RAM)
RAM stand for Random Access Memory and it is used to store all the instruction that user provide when the computer is on. However,the information stored in RAM is lost when the computer is shutdown.It is primary storage for a computer.
  • HDD(Hard disk drive)
HDD stand for Hard Disk Drive and it is secondary storage device for a computer. it is used to store big data and instruction.
It stores all the applications that are installed in the system,like your files and folders.
  •  Optical Disk Drive(ODD)
It is also a part of secondary storage and it is used to run CDs and DVD and even copy data to a CDs or DVD.

  • Heat Sink Fan(HSF) / CPU Fan
Heat Sink is an electronic components that includes a fan to keep cool the processor and other parts of the CPU cool because CPU produce a lot of heat while active.
  • Expansion Card (optional)
Expansion card is used to boost the performance or update the capabilities of the computer. it is optional components i mean you can include or not just depend on your need and budget. 
  • Peripheral Devices
Peripheral Device means a device which is not basic part of a computer. but still it is important for computer system.

There are two types of peripheral devices:

1). Input Devices

2).Output Devices
                                                        
Input devices: Keyboard,Mouse,Trackball etc
Output devices: Monitor,Printer,Speaker etc.
